Dr. Tejera has over a decade of experience in neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation, and drug discovery. His extensive industry background includes pioneering the development of antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, as well as leading discovery efforts using siRNA technologies at Johnson & Johnson. He has completed a postdoctoral  fellowships at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, UCSF, and the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE), and holds a Ph.D in Biology (Neuroscience) from Universität Bonn, Germany.
