Dr. Gonçalves is a translational scientist with 15+ years of experience in ophthalmology, neuroscience, nephrology, and vascular biology. She has led therapeutic pipeline development at Johnson & Johnson and has supported faculty at Stanford and the University of Michigan in research development, grant strategy, and securing competitive funding. Her work has resulted in high-impact publications, contributions to scientific due diligence, and deep expertise in aligning research strategy with funding opportunities. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at University of Michigan and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.SC. in Biochemistry from University of Coimbra in Portugal.
